If you are looking for a truly relaxing place with first rate hospitality, this is the place. Catalina, the owner/manager goes out of her way to make you feel like you are staying at your great aunt's private retreat. Food is authentic and very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although they are of the 1980's vintage in terms of decor. The hotel is located at the end of the lake and at the beginning of the river with steep mountainous terrain on the far side of the river. The river is literally the color of the sea at your favorite island. Literally a turquoise river. I highly recommend the guided fishing tour. For $50 USD a guide will take you up and down the river in a wooden fishing boat. The vistas are incredible. Although we did not catch any fish. Highly recommend a visit to Hotel Rinimapu
